LIVE EVENT: THE WILD HUNT

This summer, Mythic Entertainment presents you with the opportunity to find out whether you are mighty hunters - or merely prey - with WAR's upcoming live event: The Wild Hunt!
The Elven God of the Hunt has stalked the mortal lands since time immemorial. Year in and year out, the High Elves gather to honor Kurnous with a sacred hunt, where the best of the best try to prove themselves Master Hunters in the eyes of the greatest hunter of them all.
But with the war raging on, the practice has faltered ... and the God of the Hunt is angry. No longer do skillful mortals hunt to feed their families; instead, hardened soldiers scour the woods and meadows of all available game. No longer do hunters observe the sacred rites; they kill only to test their skills, and leave their prey to rot on the battlefields ...
The God of the Hunt can brook no more! The hunter's moon has risen! The horn of Kurnous has sounded! Let those who honor the ancient traditions pay heed - and let all who slaughter with abandon tremble!
SCENARIO EVENTS
The Wild Hunt, which begins in August, will conclude on September 7th. The Hunt's end will be followed by three weekend events: Battlemarsh on September 12th, Battle at the Gates on September 19th, and Isha's Sorrow on September 26th. In the spirit of Return to Nordenwatch, each of these weekend events opens up one of WAR's premier Scenarios to players of all Ranks and Tiers, but only for a limited time!

The WAR has officially raged for one full year. The armies of Order and Destruction continue to fight, and in this time of remembrance old wounds will be reopened, ancient grudges will be avenged, and the anniversary of the Age of Reckoning will be celebrated with fire and fury (and pies)! September in the Old World promises to be a spectacular month in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning! Five exclusive items will find their way into the eager hands of players across the Old World.

Halfling Pies
The Halflings of the Moot are famous for their pies, for the pastries are considered as much a delicacy as they are a danger to gourmands throughout the Empire. Nearly anything can be baked into one of these delicious tarts, and the less you know about the ingredients used, the better off you'll be. Halfling Pies will be mailed to all current players in September!
Jubilee Cloak
Every current player will also receive a limited edition cloak to celebrate WAR's first year anniversary! Festooned with the WAR logo, this cloak is a stylish addition to any combatant's wardrobe.

The
WAR Aegis is a special reward for those players who have been playing
WAR since the floodgates opened in September of 2008. The
WAR Aegis is a banner that, when unfurled, bestows the Glory of War upon friendly players, increasing earned Renown and Experience to any who fight within its powerful aura!

Charger's Charm
The Charger's Charm will drop throughout RvR zones during the month of September. Imbued with the power of the Blue Wind of Magic, Azyr, by the Wizards of the Celestial College, the Charger's Cahrm allows its owner to move at increased speed for a short amount of time.
Fireworks and Exploding Stout
Dropping in RvR throughout September are Fireworks & Exploding Stout. Fireworks have long been used as a celebratory gesture throughout the Old World, with Dwarf fireworks being some of the most spectacular. As for the Exploding Stout, let's just say that you'll want to avoid long falls after quaffing a mug of this volatile yet surprisingly refreshing beverage.
