Public Quest Preview - Land of the Dead
A number of new Public Quests can be found throughout both the Necropolis of Zandri and the Tomb of the Vulture Lord. Each one poses challenges and mechanics heretofore unseen, and they are all inured with the distinctive flavor of the Land of the Dead. From a quarry where massive and ancient bones are unearthed by skeletal workers to the personal treasure trove of the Vulture Lord, players who venture into Nehekhara will have plenty of opportunities to explore the mysteries that this ancient land has to offer.
Library of Zandri
Such was the Vulture Lord's thirst for knowledge that he ordered the construction of a vast library. Rich with lore from across the known world, all of it collected during Amenemhetum's lifetime, the Library of Zandri is practically a sentient creature unto itself.
That king, the one in the pyramid. They say he went all over the place lookin' for knowledge. Every little bit he got, he put in that there Library of his. After a while, the place took on a life of its own. Knowledge is power, right? And that power turned that Library into somethin' that isn't quite right. It can talk to folks, they say. It can even fight back, maybe, if it feels threatened.
After all those centuries, walkin' into that Library is like walkin' into a livin', breathin' thing.

Sepulcher of Eternity
Many vaults and chambers can be found within the Tomb of the Vulture Lord, but one of the most terrifying is known as the Sepulcher of Eternity. It is here that Amenemhetum's most powerful Liche Priests are interred when they succumb to what the Nehekharans refer to as the 'Death Sleep.'
The so-called 'Death Sleep' has done nothing to lessen the ambitions of the creatures that haunt the Sepulcher of Eternity. Though their bodily remains have been encased inside three massive Tomb Scorpions, it would seem that Akil, Tumaini, and Jahi refuse to leave their eternal quarreling behind them.
After That being said, they are nevertheless a potent obstacle that all intruders must face before confronting the Vulture Lord's Hierophant. So long as they work together and cease their bickering, they may even prove to be an effective deterrent.
